Sorry to hear. Hang in there!Currently sick as a dog... had to come home early from work. No fever, just a really bad cold that has me feeling like Sh!t. Will see how this plays out, and am still planning on WW, but the whole fitness ramp up I was working on is now shot to illness recovery

Dr. Watson’s orders.
Heal fast! You’ll be good to go by Sat!
I have 4 routes planned going from shortest to longest. I have not worked out the mileage our gain on them yet as we usually do all of it when we ride Wrightwood!I think you got this place figured out!
As of now, I'm planning on going... just hoping to be able to pedal more than five miles though!!!
@Mikie You got a planned route you can post, showing best bail-out spots?
I have 4 routes planned going from shortest to longest. I have not worked out the mileage our gain on them yet as we usually do all of it when we ride Wrightwood!
Option 1: Jackson Lake up Boyscout and back down is about an 8 mile out and back ride with an easy single track climb, but the return descent is awesome!
Option 2: Jackson Lake up Boyscout continue left and climb the fire road to drop Middle Jackson Trail, I’m guessing to be about 11 to 12 miles. It drops you right at the base of Boyscout so you have options if you still feel frisky.
Option 3: Jackson Lake up Boyscout past Middle Jackson Trail to drop Log Jammer to Fault Line you can either drop Fault Line back to Jackson Lake, or climb up Fault Line to Leprechaun, drop Leprechaun, then climb back up to Jackson Lake. Wild guess mileage for Fault Line back to Jackson to be maybe 15? Climbing then dropping Leprechaun to climb back up to Jackson Lake, I’m guessing 20 miles. These estimates are probably high.
Option 4: what @Voodoo Tom and I often do is all of it. Climb Boyscout and drop Middle Jackson which puts you right at the bottom of Boyscout. Climb Boyscout again and go over to Log Jammer. Drop Log Jammer then climb Fault Line to Leprechaun, drop Leprechaun then climb back up Boyscout and drop back down Boyscout to get the whole enchilada. About 26 miles with about 5k of climbing.
But then there is Option 5: Tom and I call the Wrightwood outside loop, where we climb Boyscout, climb the fire road and continue over to Blue Ridge Trail, drop Blue Ridge, then Leprechaun and climb back up to Jackson Lake then add extra credit if we feel spunky!
Sounds like Option 3 if there were a guy like me who would do such a ride.I have 4 routes planned going from shortest to longest. I have not worked out the mileage our gain on them yet as we usually do all of it when we ride Wrightwood!

Not me. I'm just asking for a friend. As you all know, on Saturdays, I have to perm the cat. I also need to mow my lawn and clean out my garage.
I was thinking that it was his goldfish that need to be walked...I also heard your hamster needs to go for a walk and the goldfish are being moody.
YesThat is just awesome. Autobiographical?
@Mikie Im not calling you a mother truckerMother trucker... this not riding is getting old!!
I doubt I have any desire to climb 5000+ feet in any weather...and definitely not 85 degrees so option 3 would work for me.
