Blunts? Isn't that @DangerDirtyD 's modus operandi?I think less variability in the pattern, more even possibly , with the motor blunting the harder efforts?

That would require a group ride, and no one is safe around here these days.Blunts? Isn't that @DangerDirtyD 's modus operandi?
Yeah but my password is messed up and I keep forgetting to reset so I can’t send my Workout Outdoors workouts to Strava…@Sassyquatch are you on Strava?
Bingo!I think less variability in the pattern, more even possibly , with the motor blunting the harder efforts?
Evidently! Good on ya.Had a rad week riding
Yes! I was Reveling and David was a blur . Good having a local show ya around. Fun trails out there and saw couple coyotes too.@scan came out to my playground to give it another try. I was going to go for another bus-shuttle, but easy change to plans to meet up at Oakmont. Fran has done most of the trails already, so not really new dirt, but linked it up for some nice flow in order to ride most all of it in one go. A couple climbs, a couple ridgelines, gopher holes, and flowy ST to be had. My phone glitched and cut my Strava off and erased a couple pictures I took, but was able to get his track and a single saved photo. Good times!

San Clemente Singletracks…2/3 E, 1/3 reg bike…so I guess ignore 2/3 if it doth offend thy eyes…
The breaks were for the bike swaps…
Rode Fri and Sun to knock the rust off and today was back at it, albeit short and sweet.

I officially died on the Floop. It's the little white cross with a few rusted bike parts leaning against it at the trail where it crosses Brea blv.
I thought the Floop was flat.

I never do anything right. You can get under a thousand feet in 11 miles if you do it right.
6-7" of travel with a 29er wheel needs room to move. That thing is so stretched out it needs apehanger bars....
I must be old.
Ahh screw that! Look forward.I never do anything right.
Riding the loop today reminded me how fast I use to be, sub 1 hr runs on my SS......it hurt mentally.

And yes - you present as old when it comes to your riding preferences. That's OK sir. You do you.
That rear tire? It looks like it's got multiple rides left in it. Too much air maybe? What do you keep the pressure at in that tire? The usual at Oakmont. Rear tire is shot, slipped out all over the place.
I'll have to make an R2 order and get them on a plane.
Age old debate of which tires to get, probably Rekons, but hmmm...

Yeah, that's the one. I always keep it at 21psi, so no variation there. If anything it may be down a smidge from that as I didn't check today. Conti Mountain King which came with the wheels. Has been a good tire for me!That rear tire? It looks like it's got multiple rides left in it. Too much air maybe? What do you keep the pressure at in that tire?
Only set of Mountain Kings I had died a horrible death. They were OEM also. I was a Conti fanboy, but I haven't found one I liked for a while now.Conti Mountain King
is this the ford you were talking about?
Tom… You are too kind… You are the true master and I am the apprentice just attempting to learn how to ride so smooth and fast on the downhill… Love riding with your brother!Slayin the rocks on MS.
