First - that dark spot looks ominous. That's a bad thing. Fix that.
Second - Any prescription to stop road riding is a good prescription in my book!

Good luck with managing all this. I feel ya!

What's funny is that the physical therapist saw the images and diplomatically said "you have a lot going on there."

Given improvements up to this point, my current plan is to make May 1 (tomorrow) my return to outdoor cycling.

Cause I'm in Maui ....sun and beach today....now it's rain and lightning.... Sitting in the condo watching the surf and rain ...I like Maui. Too bad there ain't really any mtb here....

Bought an avocado at the local farmers market, it's the size is a grapefruit, looking forward to eating that sucker.....

Go to Paia Fish Market in Paia. You're welcome.

I am going to Maui in June, you can rent a bike at Krank cycles. I have a Ripmo AF rented just in case the Skyline trail opens back up. My friend own a B&B in Paia called the Mangolani Inn.

Let us know how it goes! (Or how it went at this point).

It didn't went due to high winds. It's May and May blows in the Antelope Valley(it blew Mikie all the way to Arkansas). Instead I did a ramp test on the trainer with Golden Cheetah to see where I'm starting again. Found out what I already knew which is that my power is down 20-30W and my heart rate up 10-15.

After 16mi/1900' yesterday though, I think it will take less time to get back where I was than it did to just get there the first time.

Oh I didn’t ride today cuzz it’s new furniture day and I had to move all told sh!t out early this morning cause we had an 8:00 - 12:00 delivery window. Now I’m catching up on my beer drinking and sitting in the back yard on the old recliner.:Roflmao

Cuzz I drove 550 miles today to Richfield, Utah on my way to Fruita, Colorado. I thought of @Runs with Scissors and Evdog when I passed Beaver, Utah because they have talked about this place plus Evdog found great riding here. - And Richfield now where @herzalot stayed as he passed through this town in the past. I'm comfortable in Richfield because I've been coming here for many years. With Kokopelli coming up on Thursday I thought riding a known place at 5,300 feet above see level would be good for me.

Wow - I'm flattered you remembered. I have stopped in Richfield (mostly the Flying J) like 2-4 times a year for the 20 years I've lived in CA and commuted back to CO for visits. That said - I have only stayed overnight there once. I usually stay in Cedar City - sometimes St. George.

Have fun in Fruita! I know it's cliche, but keep the rubber side down, or at least bring it down gently if you intentionally (and temporarily) leave the earth.

Hhmmm... This makes me think.... I'll be in Delta CO mid June for work, and thinking I can spend the weekend in grand junction to ride fruita, Saturday and maybe Sunday. Company pays the airfare and hotel...... Hehe...:sneaky::)....

Any chance you're going to Marble, CO while you are that close? I mean, given your line of work, I would think that's a given.

I'll be in Marble Colorado next week. We have a very nice quarry there I'll be visiting, so yep, your spot on. As a note, the Lincoln memorial was quarried from there, as was the tomb of the unknown soldier, and still going strong!

There are two tombs of the unknowns. One sits in a tranquil valley behind Lee's home (really his wife's house the former Miss Custis). It does not have an honour guard, How quickly we forget. They had to abandoned this home because someone had the audacity to put a cemetery in the back yard.
