I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

I might be able to get a ride in later today, right now the big headache that makes me feel like my entire right side of my head is slowly sliding off. Took naproxen at 4:00 in the morning, and some acetaminophen around 8:00. So I'm able to walk around and post on the internet! But the pain is masked and right in the background.

A naproxen/acetaminophen/cbd/THC/
caffeine cocktail has got me feeling pretty good! Went for a two mile out and back walk to the pier and got some coffee, and feel in the 90th percentile now!

Adding to the medicinal cocktail:

'Cuzz I went hiking with my baby !!
We hike about 3.5 miles from the gate to the beggining flat part of skyline. Only saw a bunny waiting for us to snap the pic. It was warm and windy wich helped us keep our cool. I met another hiker at the very begginig and we talked all the way up and down. We had such a good father / daughter time
We got a couple of fruit ans 2 PB sammies along. Girl was tired at the end but her face was speechlees with the views, since her record hike was like a mile. Well this one was like a nice accomplishment for both of us. Told her stories about my romps at skyline and whatnot. All in all a great afternoon along with my sweetie.

Little guy waiting for the pic and a tip.

Well cuzz the wifey has been in Ohio all week due to the passing of her grandmother so it’s been doggy & dad duties for me all week. Today I delivered the AF one step closer to its new owner which meant driving LA freeways :gag:. The rest of my day will now consist of mostly beer:confused:.
I wish you told me you were a beer drinker! I could have hooked you up with some Bottle Logic stuff sitting in the garage fridge in Yorba Linda :(

Fantastic! Family outings rock. Way to make it happen, Jaime!

Eh, @Erckalf, you just busted yourself for lax participation. One of the first things apparent here is that Voodoo Tom drinks beer. :D:p

Hahaha no sh!t right.:Roflmao:rolleyes::cool::confused:

In case anyone hasn’t put 2+2 together @Erckalf snagged up the Ripley AF from me. I’m thrilled that it went to a good home and hope he enjoys the heck out of it. I gave him full permission to bash the crap out of me on here if it wasn’t what I said it was…:p

I haven't ridden any bike today.
But, the last seven days I rode my road bike across Iowa - RAGBRAI.
Twas about 460 miles give or take and ~12k of climbing.
My undercarriage hurts.
Lots of pork products, corn and Iowa craft beer.
Also lots of heat and humidity.

Overall, very fun despite the discomforts.

One of my best friends did Ragbrai with his dad when he was about 12. He came back to school and told us all about it, I've wanted to do it ever since.

Wife's shoulder has been acting up, so between that, reports of widespread PO in our desired riding spot, and just the rigmarole of dealing with bikes in a hotel, we elected to forego taking the mountain bikes up to SLO. Today we rented Townies and cruised around Morro Bay. It was pretty boring, so we came back and got cookie ice cream sandwiches in SLO. They were good.
