I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

It's interesting how some high school programs find a groove and just dominate. Always tied to a legendary coach, but there's more to it than that.
So true. I only this week realized that Coach Dick Hill had a street named after him at the Santa Ana Bowl...that guy was amazing. Coached my uncle up to a USC scholarship in the 60s, and was still winning when I graduated. Dude was old school. His pep rally speeches got some eye rolls from the cool kids, but he made winners.

...because I jacked up my right shoulder yesterday in Tapia. Everything on that side hurts, my shoulder joint, my upper arm, and my entire shoulder blade. I must have hyper-extended my shoulder yesterday during one of my lay-downs. Hurts like heel to lift that arm even a micron. Sheet, it even hurts to type this. At least my Chiefs won tonight.

What I didn’t know there was carnage. Tapia of all places has beat up my shoulder a couple times. Hope you feel better soon.

Well that sucks immensely. Magic healing rays headed your direction!

Rut-row. Hope it feels better quickly. "Everything" hurting sounds more like a good ol' fashioned butt kickin' than an acute injury. Fingers crossed that is the case.

Damn, Mike, take it easy on the old bones, pal.

IME these kinds of injuries heal quickly despite the immediate incapacitation and discomfort.

Here’s to 100%. :)

Thanks guys. Keeping doped up on Tylenol makes a noticeable difference. It hurt too much yesterday to work a full day so I stopped after a few accounts were done. I split today's full day work sched into a half day for today and a half day for tomorrow.

I didn't ride my bike the last three days because...

I was painting my house. Ugh. Yesterday 7 hours on a ladder.
Not this kind of ladder?

When in Rome...

Blue Mesa "trail," Petrified Forest NP.

Petrified wood boulders are strewn all along the trail, from shoebox to kitchen table sized pieces.

Imagining huge trees everywhere was a little mind bending.

Tacos at the park cafe were a nice touch. Happy Prez Day.

Got my lovely new Ti dental implant this morning. Strong, light and absorbs vibration when chewing through the chunk.
LOL. No rust, either.

That’s so cool! Haven’t been there yet, but this is a good reminder to go :)
