I Didn't Post Anything Today...

But I found out that Shimano 520 (or maybe 540...who knows?) pedals make great bottle openers. Some of you may know this already, and others may not. But now I know!!!

FYI: The 520 has the thick spindle that uses a plastic nut to connect the spindle to the pedal body. The 540 (and XT and XTR) has the thinner axle with an alloy nut to connect the axle to the pedal body.

Now, I have posted. . . .

I'm just posting here cuz I have not posted here in a while...
Oh, and I have wayyyyyyy more that 1000 posts. You get zero'ed for some bizarre reason if you post a product review on the Product Review page... Go figahhh?! :wtf:

Here is your bike son! Hopefully it is salvageable.

My first time posting in this thread I think, I just did a product review (a legit tire review, but also wanted to test the theory), and sure enough I am now the proud owner of 1 (one) post, and this be it. Guess I won't get invited to the awards and recognition banquet (wait, is there an awards and recognition banquet?) :D
edit/add: Hmm, well it says 2 posts, maybe it counted the product review as one?

I guess if you are a bean counter, the number of posts is important to some. As well, for some things I have been thinking of incorporating post count that may count towards other things I can see this posing a problem. So I may need to bring in an IT dude to figure out that one as it is way over my head.

So..... you only have two posts on imtbtrails??? Why am I even acknowledging you?

Some use STRAVA for PRs, KOMs, vertical feet climbed, rankings, mileage, etc. to validate their existence and prowess as a mountain biker. The problem is, all of that requires riding.

I simply need my post counts for validation! :wtf:

I will NEVER write a review in the review section or even go look at one. Too much risk involved.

Oh and Welcome to IMTB Knucklebuster! You will like it here.

I changed my avatar. It has been the same since I started imtbtrails and no one noticed or said anything...
It's not that different from, well, you know. I had to keep checking which social media I was using.

Please change this one - something that will make me laugh....:Roflmao I'm sure you know that's not hard to do.

Do they have Scratch and Sniff pics yet??

I have despised Run DMC ever since I heard their cover of Aerosmith's "Walk This Way." And it doesn't matter that Steven Tyler agreed to, went along with, nay, even encouraged it. It's unholy and should be forever banned from reaching anyone's ears.

There. It's out in the open.

I didn't ride my bike yesterday...:(
Cathy and I went down to Bako and sought out and bought a commuter car for me.

The Time Machine (Mini Cooper) is NOT a cost effective vehicle. (It's down...again)
Replaced so far the Engine, the Turbo, the Alternator, the Throttle Body, it required something called a Carbon Cleaning. We spent nearly $7k on that p.o.c.
One salesman I talked to said, "Yeah, a Mini is like owning a BMW without the benefits." It's true it's like a rocket attached to a Go-Cart. But what good is that if it cost you a fortune?

So we bought a used 2010 Honda Civic to drive back and forth from work and fix that stooopid Mini when we save up the money...
