My wife forgot my birthday :cry:

My wife did that many times....her mother's birthday is the day after mine and she has the hardest time keeping them straight. She finally figured out I'm not that worried about it. :)

That's why you tell her a couple days in advance. Seriously, my wife always remembered mine, and she always reminded me of hers. As it should be. :lol:

Hrz to Wife;
"Hi sweetie, My B-day is in a couple days. There is a nice plastic bike I've had my eye on, I emailed you the link and shop XYZ has it in stock."
Wife;
"yes honey, now please go take out the trash."

At least you might get a card. :roll:

Dan, you know my other half pretty well. I'll just let it slide and count my blessings on the other zillion ways she's pretty awesome.

Let's help our kids be safe by taking them from the bike lane and directing them into traffic.

I overslept and missed work today... So what did I do? I cleaned both bathrooms.... Yep, that's what I did.

Wife didn't even notice......

I'm on vacation next week. Maybe I can do a real ride report.
If that were true than we should expect a real ride report every other week! :roll:
Haters gonna hate but to be fair it's every other month. [emoji12]

Is it weird that I'm kicking it at home realizing I have to poo, and thought about Danger Dirty D and this thread?
Please tell me somehow this is normal... :|

Bahahahaha! Mikie! This is awesome! I want you to know that 80% of my posts occur from a toilet seat rather than a saddle. This one is no exception...

I Tweet and e-mail on the john, but my brilliant IMTB contributions are all from my computer at my kitchen counter or dining room table. That's how high I prioritize this forum!

Went camping overnight with the family for the first time ever (wife and I haven't camped in 20+ years) last night. Stayed at the Dripping Springs campground in the Palomar Mountain state park area. I was thinking that I'd bring my bike and check out the Vail Lake Enduro trails while I was there, but then I figured I shouldn't leave my 3 kids (6.5, 4.5, 1.5) with my wife during our first ever camping.

Aside from forgetting the chairs (doh!), and being too old to sleep on the cold ground without an air mattress, it was a good camping experience.

Does anyone know why Palomar Mountain State Park completely disallows MTB'ing on those trails in there? I had seen before we left that we couldn't MTB there (which is part of why I left my bike at home as well), and when we got there, they were pretty militant in dissuading MTB use (lots and LOTS of signage).

I don't know the answer to that, but wanted to give you kudos for the insight to leave the mistress at home this time... ;)
