I would LOVE to play again. I have all of my gear. I never played as a kid, but I played a bunch of adult beginner league from 1999-2005. I can even do backwards cross-overs - woo whooooo!

I'm thinking @Redman used to be or is still pretty good, and @DangerDirtyD - well, he's just a beast with a hockey mentality. Let's do this! Wait - Kevin doesn't live here anymore. :(



(Oh and the Avs didn't have too much trouble with the Stars tonight :thumbsup:).

That's right kids. 7-1. I hope they don't let that domination diminish their efforts in the next game. The Avs are really, really talented, but like any team, they can get lulled to play at the level of their opponent. Tonight they certainly didn't.
 
No brownie points for goal differential in the NHL. Not putting your Avs down. McKinnon is a freak. Good luck getting out of the West. The Yotes weren’t chumps but neither are the rest of the teams. I foresee Vegas Avs in the WCF, but we’re still a ways away from that.

And how about Montreal giving Philly a hard fight!!?? Didn’t see that coming.

@Makoto appears to have prophesied correctly when he claimed the Avs would have a hard time getting out of the west. They are being dominated by the Stars and find themselves down 0-2 in the series. Ruh Roh. I've always found the Stars to be a pretty boring team, but they are boring right through McKinnon and Co. Boooooo!

I'd like you to think that I know what I was talking about...but I think the phrase, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut" is more fitting. Have faith, the Av's are a good team. Some subtle tweaks and they can get right back into the series! Says the blind squirrel.
 
I'm sad. Dallas is kind of a nothing team IMO, but they sure have the Av's number. :(

Next season starts in a couple of weeks, right? Go AVS!

In fact, based on the usual start times for the NHL, I don't think the Stanley Cup will be decided for this season before next season starts! o_O
 
Avs playing the Vegas Kaniggits in Tahoe this afternoon. Well, that turned into a slush fest, so it was stopped and will resume at 9 pm. That Tahoe sun is brutal. Not sure how they are lighting the rink. Maybe Bagger Vance style.

How are the Rangers doing, @Redman?
