Chit...the silver bar on the black frame looks soooo good!:geek:
Let's chat about the silver bars. I never would have in a 1000 years bought or wanted silver bar until 2 weeks ago.... I was looking at the silver/ blue/ black magura MT trail brakes I picked up. Was not planing any silver on this build but I now needed a way to tie in the bright polished aluminum (silver) brake calipers(bling bling). I just happened to see the silver bars and blue chromag stem on sale at jenson and just knew I had to run them.

Might go silver BB, chain ring or seat post clamp to finish off the theme.

Are the grips not on backwards? I used to always put the skinny side to the shifter/brake side since you really can't use it. That leaves the rest of the grip for the palm of your hand.

Also always put the logo under the palm as it seems a bit softer than the other non logo'd squares.

Just an observation.

You are correct

It had been a long long time since I laced a wheel. I was over confident and started like I knew from memory how to go. I laced my rear wheel upside down, back wards, and tried to cross the spoke wrong. Then I figured out my problem, unlaced one side and started off wrong again. Holy crap why why why??????

3rd times a charm. All good now.

There are people who will do that for you for a reasonable fee!

Congrats on your tenacity and do-it-yourself-ness.
