This is a legit question, not on my time line, I am quite frustrated, but we are close to the truth and it has to be played out before most people believe it, at some point it will be completely unavoidable. I can't say any of it makes me happy! So with me what you will moderator.

There are people on this site who agree with some of what you post... And there are those who disagree. The difference is they respect the forum owner's repeated and vehement direction not to post political thoughts.

You do not respect that.

Many of us here on the board have had time where we could have easily justified hopping on ebikes due to injuries or illness....but instead of taking the easy road back, we all put in the work and effort. I know as soon as I was able to get back on the bike after shattering my shoulder, I could have....instead I jumped right back onto the SS. It hasn't been easy. In fact it has been quite the opposite.....quite the struggle. You won't see me making excuses. Everything I spent the last 7 years building up.....gone in 9 weeks. 9 months later, it's hard and I'm still struggling.....but I'm still willing to put the effort in to get back to where I was.....and it won't be with a motor.
 
I don't walk up the hill when I ski, so I won't take up the position of "earn your descents" but I will continue to maintain that motorcycles shouldn't be on non motorcycle trails. That said, I also am not naive enough to think that someone out there is going to defend that stance and actually discern between motorized and non motorized bikes, so I am done trying to make that happen or expecting others to do so. I have a hard time getting my head out of the "I'm better than you" superiority mindset that comes from pedaling my bike under my own feeble power.

But I also see a metric Sh!t-ton of actual electric motorcycles on my trails now - and that pisses me off. Pegs, not pedals. Little spoiled shits dared to argue that since it's not a gas motor, it's not a motorcycle. I wanted to throw them and their throttle machines off the nearest cliff. Then I realized - I probably would have done the same thing when I was their age if I could have. Damn kids. GET OFF MY LAWN! :mad:
