I am in the same boat, daughter is a senior in high school. I just hope they have a graduation of some sort. They worked too hard not to be rewarded for it.

Zzzactly and I am sure that they will have a ceremony in due time when it's safe to do so. Congrats to your daughter!

Same here... The U of Oregon has called off graduation this year, and I was already planning which trails to ride!

My boss applied for those loans also, he said the paperwork was a nightmare. Hope everything works out for you.
The EIDL loan app was a breeze. Took me about 15 minutes via the SBA site this morning. The PPP loans have to be done through an approved lender, and seem to have been delayed. My bank (Citi) said they hope to be up and running with them by early next week. I think BOA was the only bank to proceed with apps this morning, but I heard that businesses that did them will likely have to redo them.

Some great news for those small business owners who are suffering due to the pandemic.

I am going to apply tomorrow. Check it out!

Great news indeed. Though we still have my wife's income, I'm the breadwinner, and am dead in the water for a couple months at the very least, I assume. We don't qualify for the stimulus checks for individuals/families, and they wouldn't have made a meaningful difference anyway. The SBA loans won't make me whole, but I don't think it's the government's responsibility to make me whole. This will ease the sting substantially though.
