So I'm going to expand the thread into a reptile thread and add...

Eastern Box Turtle. In our yard... as we were in the process of removing 26 tornado damaged trees. I went out to direct the excavators and saw this little guy scooting across what should have been for him WWIII. I picked him up, put him in a bucket, and the following day after the heavy machinery was done, I returned him to exactly where I found him.

LOL, no, not finished. But they are at least finishing up the tile work, and they will be starting on the flooring next week. Promise is to be in by the holidays...

That is a rattlesnake. Not sure what kind you have in your neck of the woods.

Didn’t have rattles and its noggin is not v-shaped like a poisonous snake.
However we do have poisonous snakes out here without rattles.

Not a rattler. Its an Eastern Hognose snake.
