The Miller Brewing Company brewery in the San Gabriel Valley along side the 210 freeway is now scheduled to cease production in September. So sad.

I heard that Coors owns it.
It's Miller. And they also brew for PBR. 'Nuff said.
Besides, PBR may buy it.
You've obviously never climbed Acton Trail to the summit. Several of us can attest that ice cold PBR is fantastic after a ride like that.

Not a fan of their beers but I had a pretty cool experience at the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee years ago. I went on the brewery tour which is a completely sanitized experience ending at their tasting room. The brewery was enormous, something like six blocks by six blocks, and the tasting room is at the far end from where the tour started. I was checking out some architecture on the walk back when a worker randomly came out of a side door. He asked me if I was on the tour and what I thought. Then he told me he was the maintenance super for the whole place and asked if I wanted the real tour. Hell yeah! I got to see all the areas the official tours don't go, like the old swimming pool sized open air fermentation tanks where beer used to ferment back in the day, got to go on the roof with a cool view of the Brewer's stadium, and later we appeared in the old cellar where they used to store casks. On the official tour you go past that but it's behind cast iron bars. We were behind those bars. Really cool to see all that, though I can see why the real tours don't go to most of those places. I used to have pulp & paper mills as clients up in BC and the the modern part of the brewing facility reminded me a lot of that. The Miller Brewing Company brewery in the San Gabriel Valley along side the 210 freeway is now scheduled to cease production in September. You went from PBR to Guiness in, like, five posts. Careful with that stout...you might end up making jerky more often.Well my Jerky recipe only called for 12 oz so I'm not gonna let it go to waste... Jerky on grill #1, jalapeno poppers on grill #2 and chicken wings on grill #3... How many laps are these guys racing...?

I like the Lumberyard stuff. I have been drinking more of the four peaks because they carry it at my local store. I tried a new small local brewery that just opened 3 months ago, Front Porch Brewing and liked their stuff too.You went from PBR to Guiness in, like, five posts. Last few days I've been recreationally sampling Lumberyard Brewing's (Flagstaff AZ) offerings. Decent stuff, but I'm thinking these Zonie brewers need to spend some time in Petaluma and points north. The emerald triangle is good for more than just buds.
Nice, I like that angle. Support your local brewer!I like the Lumberyard stuff. I have been drinking more of the four peaks because they carry it at my local store. I tried a new small local brewery that just opened 3 months ago, Front Porch Brewing and liked their stuff too.
I don’t think front porch has distribution. You have to get it from the source but they have crowlers.Nice, I like that angle. Support your local brewer!
I'm going to prop Chandler again with their Moonjuice IPA, I can walk to buy it. I'll keep eyes peeled for Front Porch. While I'm in AZ
California was PBR and Coors.
Seriously, what happened at the Colorado River?Sorry you missed out.

I saw some Grand Canyon Brewing pilsner at my local store. No ABV on the packaging, wtf. Not interested in hydration fluid, so I went up the street f0r Voodoo Ranger. I haven't been much of a New Belgium guy, but that is exemplary and doesn't taste like Fat Tire Ale. And I get done drinking quick with 9%.
One of my go-to brands without question. Somehow the IPA has gotten great distribution. I see it in lots of markets as the token craft beer. Saved my ass a few times.Lagunitas FTW. The anti-Coors-PBR-Buttwiper-etc.

new state, home and adventures. Born and raised in Orange County and never lived out of it till I was 43. A little late in life but enjoying the new adventures and beers. You should see my home bar “Rick Kanes’s” it’s stocked.
