Beer ...I Drank Some.

Was in San Luis Obispo for work and stopped by Central Coast Brewing (had a few Monterey Street Pale Ales - their best beer) and Barrelhouse Brewing (had a few of their regular IPAs - awesome!).

Inspired by @SnakeCharmer and his 4 step process and the fact that it's too dang windy to ride I'm enjoying me some Blue Moon and skipping a couple of his unnecessary steps. My brother in law (RIP Johnsonville) used to love this stuff but it's been a while for me. I might even like this stuff better than Shocktop.

It's a little bit more smooth than Shock Top and I think Shock Top is a copy of this beer. Both are good, though. I too enjoyed one tonight, 4 step process-wise, of course. :D

This is where we have our private houseboat beer, an amber ale we named "Dead Carp Red", brewed prior to each year's departure. We bottle it in 22 ounce bottles and it's thick and potent.

Well... I’ve been cutting back on the carbs lately, and last night was game 1 of the World Series. I picked up a 12 pack of the Corona Premier- 2.6 grams of carbs versus 13 for a regular Corona.

I’m pretty sure I could drink the whole 12 pack and still not feel like I had a beer... :Roflmao Sort of a beer flavored water...

The Germans would have a hard time calling this one liquid bread... flüssiges Brot it is not. :p

I can't even give that post a "like."

I had walked four days on an ancient Inca footpath that would have been great single track..over dead woman's pass...soaring condors and foot long hummingbirds...when we walked into a hut with a generator humming in the back...

Thanks for the tip.

Haven't visited SF for a few years where RR is aplenty in markets. I need a reminder, will swing by and try my luck...

My fav RR beer is the Row 2 Hill 56 (silver label), 100% Simcoe. Unfor it's pretty difficult to find and in limited release. This is what my niece does to me when I visit...
