We will be tenting it in Moab and shuttling to Mack Road in the morning. We have a shuttle jockey dropping us on location. We typically get dinner at Eddie McStiff’s in Moab Wednesday night.

From there on Thur. morning either he or I will be driving one of our vehicles up to the start. Ok this is all my stuff. Helmet doesn't fit in the bag but I guess I can just wear it. Blue back pack is my sag bag.

I'm curious, what's a sag bag? Looked it up and obviously Google ain't correct:

1. a small cloth bag filled with dried beans and thrown in games. 2. Also called: sag bag. a very large cushion loosely filled with foam rubber or polystyrene granules so that it moulds into a comfortable shape: used as an informal low seat.

I'm going to guess it's a bag you leave in the sag wagon...the support vehicle that follows you and presents you with your gear at the next camp site.

Either that, or it's what I saw when I accidentally drifted down to the nude beach at Trail 6 and had to get out among old guys playing VB in the buff.

A health issue forced me to bail on the ride(not gonna elaborate right now). I've beat myself up mentally to no end over this. If it weren't for family and the rest of the Koko crew convincing me I made the right decision I'd be looking for a bridge to jump off of...:(

It's always better to live to ride another day. Obviously I don't know the details but I'm guessing no matter what they are you made the right choice. There's ALWAYS next year!!!!!
