Who's Riding Where???

Laguna Coast Wilderness & Crystal Cove this morning. I started at 7 AM and it was pretty cold. No wind though. Wind was actually not a factor during the entire ride. It was breezy on a couple of the ridges, but nothing bad at all.

Lizard, BVD, Ol' Emerald, Missing Link/Fenceline, Rattlesnake, and Ticketron for the fun stuff. There was also some climbing. I don't know the name of the super steep hill on the way to Ticketron, but that one can fully bite my ass. I had to hop off about halfway up and walk.

I got worked by a cactus on Ticketron, and had to stop and pull the spikes out of my hand. One spike went right through the leather on my 510's and into my foot, but I just toughed that one out the rest of the ride. :gag:

I definitely felt a lack of fitness from not riding for two weeks, but I am glad I got out.

I will bring my mt bike. I only have one. I'm not too concerned about the quality of the rides. I am going there to visit friends I haven't seen in years and eat some of Juli's amazing cooking. Any riding will be bonus. I thought there were some good trails around Prescott. No?

It's more on the XC side of things. I'm sure someone will say there is uber techy trails, but you have to know where to look.

It's actually one of the best places I've ever ridden a mountain bike. I'm sure you'll be fine.

So, @Faust29 - being the local legend, I presume you'll be at the TransTujunga 100 on Black Friday? :sneaky:

Same non-organized format as WW50 but with a twist of having 3 loops you can do all at once or mix n match in 1 day or over multiple days.

I'm looking at doing loops 2 and 3 over 2 days. Might subtract side loops from Loop 3 and add to Loop 2 to even out the mileage and vert. I've not been riding much so we'll see how it goes.

Wow, I would consider some the trails included here as off menu for 99% of the riders out there. Like the stuff above Riverwood Ranch and nasty stuff above Dukmejian Wilderness park.
