my wife doesnt ride, but she is an avid hiker. None of our trips have a bike involvedHeading into my 33rd anniversary, I know when to make a trip a mt. biking trip, and when not to...
Rumor has it there is going to be a fun ride on Thursday somewhere in the San Gabes. The ride will include some insanely chunky fun stuff with a fire road extra credit to parts unknown. Roughly 20/3000, with options to reduce or increase.
Any mid-week riders with time and a sense of adventure?
Hmmmm......my Thursday is open.......
What might be the roll out time?
Those hours don’t work for me.That is still in the discussion phase... 7 is the earliest that has been thrown around, and 9:00 is the latest. Somewhere between there would be my guess. But it is a bit of a drive from civilization.

"Fun ride" and "Gabes"... you've been warned!
Be right there!
This is the route in case anyone is interested... It's the usual large loop at Chilao, but with a fire road out and back to Mount Pacifico before the main event. And... I found two victims willing to come along!

Once he retires, you and I will be paying him to ride his bike. You can retire tonight and ride tomorrow... please pay the front desk on your way out.
I like the sound of that.Once he retires, you and I will be paying him to ride his bike.
I like the sound of that.
If I retire now, I will get about 60% of what I will get if I retire at 62. Can you guys make up the difference for me? For life?
I get 90% of highest yearly salary after 62. For life. Unless the system crashes, I should be OK.You coulda had CalPers instead of CalSTRS...but no. You don't even get Social Security.
What were they thinking? 2% at 60 and a 403(b)? Really?

Elements of it for sure, but not exactly the same. (This is not a defense of either socialism or public education.)Sounds like socialism.
Suckers.I found two victims willing to come along!
