Sadly, I have a shuttle driver. After decades of all sorts of abuse, my sweetie's knee is exhibiting signs of needing a good meniscus scoping. So we'll just take a nice drive together...
To the Tahoe Rim Trail, Big Meadow TH (down south on the 50). If I can get to Tahoe Meadows TH (Mount Rose) at the north side, that'll be ~70 miles of TRT. I tried once last year and got shut down at dusk when a rain squall rolled in and killed my attitude. Decent chance I can get it in the light this time of year. My last ride was not infused with Tailwinds, and I had gas in my tank after 11 hours. The hardtail/SS will work just fine; negligibly more difficult than my geared FS, as I've been discovering.
This ride, except no Tyrolean DH at the end:

Thanks, Steve. That knee has chicked me on too many hikes to count. Rides, too. It was incredible how fast one pint-sized hiker can move downhill. The price of it seems to be coming to bear... Common problem/fix, NBD, I'm guessing.Nice...
Why the 10 mile out and back at the beginning?
Edit: And I meant nice about the ride... not about the knee issues. That part doesn’t get a like...
I may throw down a Whiting-Luge-Whiting lap...Weekend Warriors Unit!

Yes, along with $1 million Policy for each, but the underwriters don’t like it when I ride safe.Dependents?
I’m thinking I’ll mount the portable speakers to the pack and play some tunes out loud as a deterrent if I’m solo.
Starting around 1:30pm. Plan to park off of Santiago Cyn Road just north of Cook’s Corner. You figured out what time your starting yet and where from @DangerDirtyD?
Heck yeah! It would make for a more adventurous ride which would make for a more bettah RR. And, you won’t be alone. With the beaches closed for the holiday weekend, the trails are gonna be SLAMMMMED.Plan is Harding to Joplin, but is it wise to go it alone? I hear stories of the kitty cats...
