Who's Riding Where???

Sounds odd on a SoCal site, but I’m looking to avoid snow. o_O

Still have not made it to The Bench this year on Rim Trail south of Spooner. I’ll bet it’s melted out pretty well since last try a couple weeks ago. Must top out Genoa Peak, too, what is my problem??

Tomorrow or Wed, big east side loop:
1) Park at lower Clear Creek TH in Carson City
2) 8 mi of casual road to Sierra Canyon Trail
3) 9 miles up SCT to Tahoe Rim Trail
4) ? mi out/back to Genoa Peak
5) 1.5 mi climb to The Bench (rad Lake overlook)
6) 5 mi fast DH to Spooner Summit
7) 14 mi mostly DH on varied CCT from pines to desert, to the ice chest in the car

Never done it clockwise. The SCT climb looks NTB. Around 38 mi, elevation above seal level between 6-9k’. The Bench has probably the best Lake view of any of the rideable TRT.

^^^This, finally. Tomorrow, 6am at this TH: https://goo.gl/maps/rEXxNUgXT715rJko6

Low 60s at the start; high temp mid 80s at the bottom. High of 70 on the Rim.

Hoping to ride Whiting and Luge tomorrow morning if the stars align. After today's not so great ride, who knows... The nice part is that there are plenty of bail out options.
You just never know! Maybe next ride will be amazing
For me I actually get really weak before I’m about to cross over a threshold..you know when you finally get stronger at your regular activity. Does that make sense?o_O:)

Usually my first ride back after not riding for a week or so is pretty rough, so I'm hoping that's just what this was plus recovering from a virus.
I'm planning on finding out tomorrow!!!

Floop tomorrow night. A LBS wants to loan Vince an XC bike to annihilate everyone. I think it's a Jet or RKT. I'll be cruise'n on the SS.

I'm planning to attend. I can watch Vince disappear into the sunset on Mormon Hill. Assuming I don't do the Super FLoop.

EDIT: It's 100 degrees in Fullerton, and I'm not interested in renewing my club membership today. Some other time...

Going to show @Voodoo Tom some new dirt in Pine Mountain Club called Prospector, then putt back to the “Y” parking lot and climb McGill Trail to the summit then Bomb it. May get in a couple of shuttle runs after that. Then go to Mike’s pizza and drink huge mugs of cold beer and eat good pizza.

Meeting at Subway at the Frazier Park exit at 8:30 to get a bite then hit the trails.
Want some?

Let me know.
