It was 111° in Castaic today so we damn sure ain't cooking anything today. Too darn hot for me to even grill so it's Gallions salad night. Gallions Castaic Corner is a go to place just like Casa Lupitas. If you need bait, super ice cold beer or the absolute best sub sandwich you've ever had in your life then you need to go to Gallions. Leave the bread off and you got yourself big giant killer Italian salad and it's only 5 bucks. Cant beat it with a stick.

I was supposed to practice for the VoodooBBQ yesterday with a smoked Tri Tip we picked up when the wife was torturing by dragging me to Wally World a couple days ago. Instead she added salt to the wound after I had an awesome ride and made me go with her to visit and socialize with the monster in law:eek:. So today while I was still at work I guided her thru her own tri-tip on the pellet grill and she nailed it even though she did use the cheater grill. Best one I've ever had so I have officially nominated her as grill master for the "big event" so I can just drink beer and enjoy myself:Roflmao:D:confused::rolleyes::eek:...

Yeah I'm a redneck beer drinking meat eater but I ride my bike a lot so hopefully it balances out.

I’ve been making fermented sriracha the last two summers.
Last year was serranos/habaneros/Thai dragon chilies with some red bells for body.
This year is jalapenos/serranos/Naga vipers with the red bells again. Vipers are like 10 times hotter than habaneros.
Very good flavor and then every once in a while you get a seed that makes you whimper. I used pineapple juice instead of vinegar this year.
