Yup. Got up early this morning and looked at the radar and said, WTF? Did some road work on the Lauf and headed home when it got too wet. Had it been a little warmer, I would have stayed out. Rainy and 45° was just a little too much. There's always tomorrow.

My app said no rain until 11.
That held true.
Our run from Cook's at 10:30 ended up getting pretty humid.

Ok... Glad I'm not the only one. When I realized I missed my window, I headed to the garage and installed the new dropper. Not a total loss...

Got out today... Flat beach ride... Little wind... Turned the cranks...
Lot of events going on at the beach. They must have been scheduled long ago.
Like some massive ultimate frisbee competition event, etc. Over a mile of fields, this picture does not do it justice.
The fields went from a little past newland almost all the way to brookhurst it was huge.

Slept in here. Rained all night I think. Wasn't raining in the am so we started to get ready to ride. Open the front door and...rain. decided to head to Sycamore because it tolerates the wet well. Got there and it JUST stopped raining. Decided to grab a drink and wait a few minutes to let the water drain down. Then it started raining, more and more. Forecasts were wrong I guess.
Went to the climbing gym instead, then to Grandma's for home chores. Pouring again by the time I left.
Thinking about Palm Canyon tomorrow. Unpaid vacation day, I don't want to waste it

Looks like 70% of cathedral city will get rain tomorrow but it looks early. Watch out for swift water in the water crossings on the 1t half. Let us know if you go.

That's what happened to me. Forecast was a window in the afternoon.....wrong
. Rode just couple of miles, too messy and rainy.

so far this season, I measured 10" of rain in Laguna Beach, 7" of which fell in the last 6 weeks

Wont need to at all next week and likely the week after. The ground is saturated. I plan to keep the irrigation turned off here for most of a month.

Can I assume your refrigerator is fairly well above 9°? Like 38-40°?
