Much better value than the equivalent Toyotas of the era, with a better ride quality.
Exactly why we chose the Titan over another Tundra this time.

Did I not just see an updated Toyota truck model on TV? Looked a bit diff than what's offered in the current Taco or Tundra but I don't see anything on the Toyota website.

I agree if you are referring to the standard front end. But the all-black front end makes the truck nearly as attractive as any other in its class...

I've had two Nissan small trucks, two Pathfinders, two X-Terras and a Titan. They were all great - albeit all were underpowered except the second X-Terra and the Titan. Much better value than the equivalent Toyotas of the era, with a better ride quality.

I agree….we’ve owned 3 Nissan’s over the years….

‘89 Hardbody
‘04 Titan
‘07 X-Terra

The new Frontier looks nice…basically a small version of the Titan. But it just recently hit the dealer floors, so I doubt they are going to be wheeling and dealing too much on them.

That's mind boggling. Though I can't imagine they're really getting that, I remember tales of RAV4s going for $15K over sticker before we were really even in the throws of this shortage.

You have to think no finance company would actually fincance this much, you’d have to come up with a down payment for the marked up price, which is almost the original sticker price. But some bozo with more money than brains will buy this.

RAM doesn't have that luxury. At an average of 3.765% US Market Share over the last 4 years they almost have to take what they're offered, rather than vice versa.

Not just Ram, but Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler......FCA.

But I really think it is based on dealer to dealer. Back in Sept. I was at a different FCA dealer and every vehicle.....new/used, had $5k worth of worthless add-ons to push the price up.

I am selling my 65,000 mile 370Z for $100K to any suckas. Read no more and make an offer ... SHIB and/or BTC accepted.

You can actually fit a 27.5 mountain bike in the back ... trust me.

Full disclosure .. the OG engine inexplicably :whistling: ... blew up around 20K. Fully replaced under warranty ... so it is like a 45K mile gem. And the gas gauge does not work ... but the MPG gauge does. If you are smart with math, you will have no trouble.

Stick shift ... so that eliminates all women buyers. Mostly.

Them's just jokes ... I am not selling it.

I'll bet that you can get to and from the trailhead parking lot (on pavement) faster than any truck can. :D

I try to control myself ... but Live Oak Canyon ... and those roads to SkyPark and Big Bear ... cops really hate tall blue eyed white dudes. I don't make the rules. :bang:
And then there is that part of San Juan Trail parking .... no good. When Holy Jim was a thing I just parked it at The Path and ate dust for six miles. I need to buy a truck before I buy the new Z.

no money-shift nanny? My tach has gone to 11 before fortunately was just a quick Italian tune up.

Nah, it was slow speed first gear in a parking lot. Nissan USA was so stunned by the failure that they shipped the engine back to Japan. I am 51 and have never owned an automatic, so the odds of me screwing up a shift is zero. On a car. I mess them up all time on my mountain bike. :Roflmao

In this case I think it's the PRIME (plug-in hybrid) part of the equation that's driving this, and they're hyping up the $8,250 in tax credits that come along with it. Still though, RAV4 anything at >$90K is just crazy town.

Anyone paying even $40K for a freakin' RAV 4 should feel bad about themselves. I do not know how many cars have been mocked in song, but the RAV 4 is one of them.

Plus the fact that they apparently explode into flames when hit by Corvettes at 127 MPH.

ANy chance someone printed that up as a joke? I saw some markups for sure, but nothing like that. Even the Type R, which is a limited edition model that a LOT of people really want is barely seeing that kind of mark up during the worst times.

I saw a Toyota Supra with a $50k markup at Toyota of Orange. So yeah its probably real. Wouldn't shop there no matter what.
