This one is a double feature, so you can see the hell climb you have to do to get out.

I don't even remember the lines any more on that particular segment. That cheater line at :22 that just goes straight and bypasses the rocks on the left is just shameful.

Fixed the original post.
If you're "vertically challenged" (aka, not a big climber) then this is best tackled from Central as it gives you the option to bail out half way through the climb and go down Powerpole.

Unfortunately, you can't create a Strava segment for this one as it is too short. A segment exists, but out captures rides going AROUND the climb and includes a lot of lead up.
This climb averages 30%, an instance where I am at my power and traction limits.

I had never seen that first segment. Does this start on top by the Mini Moab entrance and the flood reservoir?

It's near there, but past it if you are coming from the south. Keep going along the fenceline and it will be a singletrack to the left.

It's a fun line. The hard part is remembering to make the left around the boulder instead of going straight. You can go straight, but it isn't as fun.

It's funny. I actually ran into you guys a few thursdays back at the top of the plunge. I had never looked to the left to know that line to the left existed until I saw you gap it.
