Second Annual IMTB Big Bear SKYLINE! Takeover

Let's play it by ear...
We'll make sure we can split in to two groups at a key point if need be...
I'm probably going to park at the top of the hill, at the Radford grade intersection. That's a good meet up spot as it is at the top of the climb, and it'll let me do the rest of the ride (presuming out to Plantation loop) and back w/out any drama. So that's a good option for anyone wanting to be in the B group. I'd recommend starting up there, rather than burning up all your matches on the climb to get there.

Maddog and I were talking about climbing up Moonridge road to fire road then get on Skyline as an alternative to climbing Fern/Plumbers (more difficult climbs) . Then doing skyline east to west , doing a loop back to the SS parking lot via town trail, about 24 mi. loop. An option for those who'd rather not do the 30 ish mile out and back. Possibly an option for @Cyclotourist and /or the @UPSed.

I think I'd rather go up Fern than take Moonridge/Clubview. Still mulling over options... maybe not 100% able to go now... just realized my kid has a CX meet that morning. Decisions, decisions...

Anybody else checked the weather for Saturday...looks like it may be on the interesting side:
