I assumed his post meant you are now up for a new bike since she got one but I may be wrong. :alien:
I'm still 100% in :inlove: with my JET 9. I always get excited about a new bike when I'm at the bike shop but I just know the feeling is only because it's a new bike. I enjoyed the Mojo 3 when I demoed one with Jennifer but all I have to do is throw my plus wheels on my JET and the ride is very similar.

I'm officially jealous....

Upper left corner... And I can attest that they are waterproof!

They are meant to be worn with another sock... I've been wearing wool socks under them for the snow days. They are more like a wetsuit bootie. They were only $16, so I couldn't resist...
So these do away with the need for plastic wrap over the socks!?
I wear two pair of merino wool socks and haven’t really had an issue in the past.

They are waterproof... And they seal really well around the leg, so it's hard for water to get in from the top. I've been wearing them for the stream crossings on our recent snow rides, and they have kept my feet dry, even without waterproof shoes. The drawback is that they need an undersock for the really cold rides, and that setup might not fit in a tight shoe. My Pearl Izumis have a pretty good sized toe box.

I bought the Gore "socks" (more like wetsuit boots) to try, because I found them on sale. I'd like to pick up a pair of the Showers Pass for comparison. Eventually... waterproof mountain bike shoes.

Keep us posted, this is all very helpful! I’m big on reading reviews before buying, especially big ticket items, so... thanks!
I also have some waterproof mtb shoes waiting in an online shopping cart:thumbsup::whistling:

This popped up on the Tube, maybe some good info??

I like that they look and supposedly feel like normal socks... Although I'd probably skip the toilet bowl test. The Gore socks do not. They look and feel more like a baggy rubber booty.

If the Showers Pass socks are similar to the gloves I just bought, they're going to be a winner. Once my hands warmed up the insides (5-10 minutes...), they were toasty even in the mid 20s on Saturday's ride, with no sweaty clammy feeling. When we got up top in the 50s, they were still fine. The hands never got sweaty, which was awesome. That was the first winter ride this year that I haven't had the urge to swap out gloves 1/2 way through.
