This is random, but I’m a Prana brand influencer and this is a special sale they have going on if anyone is in need of new hiking, climbing or yoga gear. Just throwing it out there :) I don’t get any kick backs or anything, just think it’s an awesome company:thumbsup:

I'm sure glad my wife does not frequent this site. This would surely cut into our bike stuff fund.

Oh gotcha..
Someday a multi day bike-packing trip is a must on my bucket list!
Oh, the dreaded “someday”!!!!!!!!!?!!!

Fred would drive down every winter from Seattle to CA and AZ for suitable climbing weather. Until they took his DL away, then he would fly and have someone chauffeur him around. I asked him why he doesn’t just move down here. Yea, maybe someday he says. He was 91 then. But he went straight from the PNW to the afterlife.

So, yea, spring chickens...bump it up and send :geek:

You’re right Mike....I need to eliminate the word “someday”from my vocabulary! Even if I hop on a local certain single track for a few days that would be a start, and not a someday:thumbsup:

Uh-oh, epic derailleuer alert!

Mostly trails and FRs wherever  But Yosemite being the center of the rock climbing world and being a CA resident by design... :geek: Tahquitz is close to our hearts. But also wherever we happen to be.

Sounds like somebody is itching to rope up and pull before someday arrives?... :)
Nice!! I am itching to get out onto some real rocks! I’ve only done some very mild bouldering and climbing gym stuff....so much fun tho. Still getting my strength back after the crash, so I’ll hit the indoor climbing gym again soon to see what I’ve got!

I'm actually curious because the weight on the box is 30 lb. If the weight is accurate then there is something really light inside.
When I had my first track bike delivered in a hard shell bike case by UPS the guy was super excited and stuck around to watch me open it. Granted, that was 2005 and I've heard they've since begun tracking left and right turns. But that dude was clearly a cyclist.

Right on, Sara, be nice to yourself! Steep stuff in gyms has been gold for many shoulder surgeons...but gyms are a common route to outdoor climbing.

A climber focused on the mountains will get only so much from a gym. Slabby footwork and crack tech is key in the BC, and gyms don’t have lots of terrain to help practice it. But yes I do know how fun pulling hard at numbers is. My shoulders will never forgive me!!
