It's about time. All the roadies I know are rolling tubeless these days. Tubeless is better.
Also, you need to upgrade your frame to disc brakes. That's also what all the rowdee boyz are rolling on these days...

For me I'd choose the AC. Had one and rode the heck out of it for about 9 years. The 4-5-6" adjustable rear suspension was cool. Very plush too.
