I don't doubt it one bit but I'm a little guy who likely does not have the umfff needed to continuously push the added bulk of a plus sized tire. Heck, I grumble at 2.3s.All dirt is hero dirt on a plus bike.
I did cruise a friends 27.5+ SJ FSR around a dirt parking lot with some banks to roll up and down on. I did feel the added stability and traction.
EDIT: Ah, who knows...I never said I would switch from 3x to 2x when that we new, and then from 2x to 1x when that became popular, but I did...

They should have drawn that line of coldness for the PNW right on through Nor Cal because it's cold up there, too.
It's really only truly laughable from about San Luis Obispo on South.

Well, he's dead so...
That was Kelly McGarry's bike after a hard landing at Rampage two years ago. Kelly died on a routine trailbike ride near his home in New Zealand. He was an awesome soul with a huge heart. Literally - probably too big. RIP McGazza!
