Post One Photo and Sentence or Comment

One thing I've learned about @Runs with Scissors. There is no way in hell he is ever going to try something he has decided isn't for him - full sus, Aliso, LCWP... In some ways, he makes ME look adventurous and open minded!

Has it ever occurred to you that I've ridden a full suspension bike and that's how I decided it wasn't for me? Ever? No?

You have? When? What make and model? Where? For how long? A Gary Fisher Sugar may not be the state of the art... :whistling:

And no, it has never occurred to me. It's a lot more fun to pick on your stubbornness if I assume you've never tried one. :sneaky:

I generally don't decide I don't want to do or try something until I've given it a fair shake.

Except for snails.

And balut.

And kimchi.

I have an extra single speed you can borrow... Any time! A little training and we'll get you past that 3000 foot barrier.

So bummed that your extra SS is too small for me. Dahhmmmmmitttt! :bang: :whistling:

I practiced SS-ing just for you today. I put it in a harder gear, stood up, and barely turned the pedals over. It was amazing. :cautious: o_O

Oh, and last year I was clearing 3000' regularly and even made 4000' a couple of times. BUT, starting over now.

I think hertz would be giving you a smirking noogie while making these comments, but I think you also get that.

It’s kinda like sushi for me, I have tried it and tried it some more but will never be into it. When my wife, who could eat sushi every meal, gives me crap about it I just remind her that I’m paying the bill so leave me and my ramen bowl alone.

I can't see that as conducive to climbing from GMR/Sierra Madre to Islip Saddle. o_O
I understand that you can't, but love of going downhill with a bike that makes it fun is a motivator for uphill riding. :geek:

Anybody who thinks today's squish platforms are energy-sapping and unsuited to XC simply hasn't spent time on them. I can ride up anything on my Smash that could on any bike I've owned, hardtails included. Not just because it's the most fun going down. ;)

Pretty obvious you've never done that route....68 miles of asphalt. #fullsquishwhy?
Oopsie. I thought this is a MTB site.

Also, snowshoes will not work well on your road ride either. :gotnothing:
