I lived there for nearly 30 years. I saw it snow in early June down to about Denver altitude, but only a few inches. I remember it snowing about 4-6" on graduation day (June 6th) in Colorado Springs (6000'), forcing us indoors. However, I have never seen it snow in any quantity under 11,000' of altitude from mid June to mid September. Gotta be a record. Steamboat is only about 7000'. Breckenridge is about 9500'.That has got to be breaking some records!
