Pivot Cycles: Off my list

Joining the derail... I actually really enjoy football, especially if there is a team I care about (Broncos). But even so, I will almost NEVER spend the time watching a game. I would rather do something on a Sunday than sit and watch a game of any kind - even a playoff game. I love hockey too, but same thing as far as watching games. At least most hockey games are in the evening, so you don't have to burn prime participation time doing something sedentary.

As for pro basketball and baseball - never. Pro basketball teams just go through the motions for the first 80 games of the season and rarely seem to care in any game until the final two minutes. College basketball can be really exciting, but not pros. Baseball? Uhhhhh, yeah. I did watch a couple of world series games last year, because it was the Cubs. The strategy is interesting, but the action is low and the 150 plus games they play means nothing really matters until October.

I actually like watching golf. Yes, I said that out loud.

Finally, I have never purchased a professional sports game ticket or any jerseys or even t-shirts because I think pro salaries are so far out of line with what really matters in this world. I guess that's my own little e-bike boycott. I am a hypocrite however in that I have accepted free tickets, and, as I said, I have watched games on TV and probably purchased products that advertise on broadcasts.

WOW - I am SOOOOO interesting! :gag: :poop: :bang: :whistling:

I did go to one baseball game in the last 20 years. About 2 years ago I was invited to the Angels stadium to watch an Angels game ( don't know who they played), but it was at table one row one. With a private entrance, waiter and full menu. Awesome food and drinks..the game was background to the meal.
I'd definitely go back to have another meal...er, to see a game. :)

To keep on the thread, I Used to have a pivot mach 5. Loved that bike..

I see at least one able-bodied rider on an e-bike every ride now. All trails. Whiting, Luge, most of Aliso, LCWP. It's over. The war is lost. Do not expect enforcement of the "motorized bikes" rules. Will it signal the death of trail access for all 2-wheeled vehicles? Will it quadruple the erosion of our beloved trails, due to multiple laps when only one or two were attainable under human power? Will it increase the number of clueless, rude asshats on the trail? I guess time will tell. :(

I have to say I kinda called this out a long way back when we first started talking about Ebikes. There is no one to police them and that is the main problem. Forget about class 1, or class whatever... No one is kicking them out our non-motorized trails. If mountain bikes are allowed, people will sneak in on their E-bikes. This will happen more and more often. How are they going to be policed? A check point? I mean think about it. They will be more and more common as people realize that no one is enforcing the non-motorized rule. So eventually we will have people racing around on electric motorcycles causing horses and hikers to loose their minds. Until finally Sh!t will get real as ALL mountain bikes are banned because you can't sort out the "assisted" ones from the non assisted ones. We will just get a blanket ban.

Seriously. I see a lot of people here saying it is just a fad or they don't really mind if people are riding Ebikes if those people need it and have a disability. Ummmm there is now E-MTb racing?

Yup. The war is over. We lost. Embrace our new overlords until we all get banished.
