The XTR pedal on my Scott was creaking. I inspected it and noticed that it is extremely loose.
Check out clips on you tube, and decided on o tension the bearing. Re-greased it, and felt good about my ability to fix things.
Yesterday around noon was the first ride on Saturday the bike after the service and it lasted 1.5 miles......
I’m not sure if I missed something when I inspected it or why the two nuts are that far up the tread, but walking up Lizard sucks.
Hopefully Backcountry (or Shimano) replace it. I wander is there a real difrence in design in XTR vs. XT pedals. This is the second XTR pedal I busted.
