So many Revels! It's the new Guerilla Gravity and Hightower it-bike of the Forum!

I was first! (Actually, I think I was second).

And @bvader yes, there is one more pivot than you find on a 4-bar Horst Link, DW Link or VPP derivative. If you look at a VPP bike you can still count five places where the linkage rotates. They are just much more hidden. Look at @Obsidian's Hightower posted a few pages earlier.

Congratulations! Before your first ride, take some Ti Prep and lube the shock mount bolts if it hasn't been done already. Also, the number 4 pivot bolt is notorious for squeaking after a few rides. Revel will replace it under warranty. I'm not sure if they've fixed it with the V2.
The guy I bought it from did a complete bearing and linkage service. He did a handful of rides on it. It looks nearly new.

I noticed you have a Float instead of the Float X Factory. Mine got recalled with the newer model but it took a while to receive it since Fox had to tune it for the CBF. Not sure if it originally came with the Float but you may want to ask the previous owner if it was tuned for that bike. If not, it may take more time to dial it in the way you want it to or take it to a suspension tuning shop. Aside from that, these bikes are awesome!
***Looks like yours is a Ranger so the Fox Float is correct. As others have mentioned, make sure you torque your pivots to spec and you shouldn't have any issues of creaking. When I got mine, some were definitely not up to spec.

Lower is better. Physics and such.
Yes - in theory. In practice, it doesn't much matter. Yetis keep winning Enduro races under many different pilots. I could argue that Enduro is the most mountain biking of mountain biking race formats - for those of us who don't give a Sh!t how fast we climb - but we still climb - to get to the good stuff and smile. The SB 140, 160 and 165 under Richie Rude and a dozen others have high-mounted shocks, unlike your amazingly cool (and I'm not being sarcastic) Hightower.
