I'm pretty sure a scale can't measure what Steve got this bike for.

I didn't think you'd do it! Stoked to see it at close range, in action. :geek::thumbsup: The colors look classy. I can see it upping the fun factor on your testy DHs. While keeping the ups as painful as necessary.

Joe will probably not post it up. He got it off Pink Bike.
Personally I think the seller was kinda a loser... Pulled some of the deal after bucks were passed. :devilish:
I wrenched his bike for him:
Bled the Brakes
Adjusted the Suspension
Leveled the Seat
Removed stupid stuff
Washed it
Lubed the Chain
Check sealant in the tires and pressurized for performance
Upon discovery of a WAYYY over torqued Steer Tube, I tweaked (not twerked) to get some smoooth steering...
Then I retorqued everything as I no longer trusted the previous mechanic...

Weighs in at like 24.5 lbs.... I now hate Joe! :gotnothing::p

NOICE!!

New bike to match my house paint! Black Mountain Cycles La Cabra drop bar mountain bike. Kinda' burly. Splitting the difference between my monstercross/GG and my rigid 29er. I wanted a "road" bike that could fit 2.35 29er tires, and this popped up on the radar. Bike habit is cheaper than sailing.

Ohhh! Is it a Spur? I don't know my Transitions that well.

@JoeMac has a pretty new bike.

24.5? I don't like Joe very much either. :p

Hopefully I'll get to post here soon. I thought for sure I had figured out that nasty noise I've been dealing with for the past year or so was cable slap. Turns out I have a crack in my frame. It appears to be a stress crack as there's no damage anywhere near it. Vince at JRA has already started the warranty process. I know bikes and frames are scarce these days but I'm hoping to at least get it approved. I can wait for the frame.

How many miles on that do you estimate?

Wow... Hopefully they'll take care of it. You and that bike were a real match!

I'm tempted to go through Strava and add them up but I'm guessing around 15k.

Yeah, the new wheels and recently replaced linkage bearings have made it feel like new again. Oddly, I've been looking at a Jet 9 RDO replacement frames as opposed to a new brand entirely. Guess I really love my Jet.

Can't you go into the gear section on Strava and set the beginning date to when you got it... I back date stuff occasionally when I forget to enter it.

These new additions look awesome! Always something interesting going on in @Cyclotourist's garage. Downcountry Joe Mac has a nice twang to it. And Steve's XXXXXXXX XXXXXX. Way to gear up, guys. My Ranger will be coming up soon. Let's make a pact: Do some fantastic riding on these finely crafted inline wheelchairs. Make this year memorable. AYE
