New Bike Day!

Back to a 27.5......Ibis HD5, 29.6 lbs with pedals, ready to tackle Bug Springs and La Milagrosa on Mt Lemmon this weekend. I always wanted the Desert Tan 4 Runner or Tacoma, then wanted the tan Crosstrek but they didn't offer the color by the time I bought so a bike will have to suffice. Hopefully I'll blend into the sand so the rattlesnakes won't see me this weekend.

I was going to order a Revel Rascal frame to replace my Primer but apparently they have something new coming out at Sea Otter so Mark @ PBS said I might as well hold off. However, it said he doesn't know what it might be and I definitely don't expect them to change the Rascal this early.

Nice! I definitely dig the color.

Badass little sled, Mike. Well appointed, as I would expect. Enjoy the honeymoon.

Nice rig. Congrats. Dropping the Primer for a Rascal?

PS: Change the info below your Avatar. It's sooooo outdated!.

New bike day for my better half. Liv Alight 3. Nothing too exciting, but it replaces a cruiser style bike that she didn't jive with. Hopefully it will be an additional impetus for us all to get out together. I see (hopefully) a lot of bike paths in our future as we make the best of the current predicament and try to stay sane by getting outside together.

Sweet ride! I agree, do whatever it takes to get out together!
I’m still working on that one

I still haven't decided. Just sold a set of wheels so there's more $$ in the pot but I'm in no rush because the Primer still puts a smile on my face. It doesn't climb as good as the Ripley and doesn't go down the trail anywhere close to the Rascal but it's a solid compromise for now. As usual, it will most likely be a spur of the moment purchase and there's no telling what might be the trigger. I can tell you that after getting 4 rides in on the HD5 in Tucson, I absolutely have ZERO regrets. It went down exactly as expected but shocked me on how well it climbed for my riding style.
