Mtnbikej's B-Day Social

Well well well... hope to see you guys out on the trails. Doing a big loop in LCWP and starting at 730 downtown Laguna, over to cattle trail, out to nix, out to Quail... that sort of thing. ( Riding the Pivot. Blue TLD helmet, no visor. Black TLD kit.) ... so I can ride with wife at noon, then work.

Ok peeps......

I hate to do this....it is 3:15am and I have spent the last several hours puking my guts out.:gag:Don't know what the deal is.....but I haven't slept any.

I'm not gonna be able to make it to my own ride. :(

Perhaps I will reschedule it after the holidays.

Again, really sorry everyone.
Well that sucks mightily. Puking one's guts out is how someone spends his 21st birthday, and not too many after that. Sorry to hear - and I hope by the time you read this, you are all better.

Although we may not ride the ride you had planned, all of us who do ride will do so in honor of your birthday anyway.

Oh - and I used the "like" button as acknowledgement - not actual "liking."

I am likely to head over to LCWP anyway and do a typical route including Lizard, Camarillo Stagecoach, Willow, FL/ML, Rattlesnake, Mach 1, ITIC, etc. I will start from Ridge Park to avoid the parking problem of starting in the canyon.

ORRRRRR....maybe Aliso yo-yos would be better. More bang for the buck. Start at Canyon Vistas, hit 5-Oaks, then anything else that sounds fun. 3-5 climbs/descents.

Aliso and LCWP are now open (as of 8:30 am).

Ride your bikes, peeplez!!!!!

J, WTF, man...sorry to hear you got bit by a bug. This does indicate, however, that you are not a cyborg sent from the planet Hammeron to crush the human mountain bikers on planet earth. Get well quick!

We "fixed" the route;-)

So, while I was purging my system yesterday, instead of riding with all you fine people. I did come away with 2 positives....

1. I lost 8 lbs in less than 24 hrs with doing any exercise.
2. Tailwind makes a great calorie/hydration/food replacement when you can't eat solid food. It took my 1 hr to stomach down 1/2 piece of toast, while I was able to drink down 3 scoops of Tailwind with no trouble at all.
