Tito's Tacos Culver City, even better/worse than the roach coaches that line the main drag here in Castaic.

If you're asking, I used to live in Palms back in the early 80's and my roommate used regularly to drag me to Tito's Tacos. IMHO, their tacos are only a small step above JIB/TB. The trucks on Castaic Road are far better IMHO. I have not tried all of them, but have tried some of them. Several of the trucks are owned/run by the same person, and he also owns at least two of the local mexican restaurants. I see cooks/workers from the various outlets at others as they seem to rotate them.

Haha yes I couldn't agree more. Sometimes a crappy greasy taco really hits the spot though and Tito's and JIB run pretty neck & neck for greasiest Colin cleansers. TB is so bad I won't feed it to my dog. Only sampled a couple of the trucks myself. We do have some pretty good choices for Mexican food in our fine town don't we...

I saw you were the last one to post. I assumed you were here to RSVP!

I'll be there for some of the festivities.
I'm going to start earlier (probably around 7:30), and head back home around 11 ish.
I haven't figure out my route. I might start in Newport. Climb Buck Gully + Ridge Park, and go from there....... All that might change in a few minutes.

(the 9 am start is a waste of 2.5 hours of sunlight)

I agree, I’d prefer pre-dawn starts....but the turnout usually suffers. I figured a later start may get more attendants.

I'm probably in.

Hear the hesitation in my voice there?!?!?

Worst-case scenario I can bail at the 19 mile mark (top of Lizard). Or just skip that portion and get a head start on the return leg.

9:00 start time is a big plus!!!
Guessing you are getting on the train in Riverside. What time?
