I am disappointed. All this time, I was hoping it was a genuine taco stand, where you order in Spanish and get sloppy, greasy, delicious, authentic Mexican masterpieces.Yes...

Tito's Tacos Culver City, even better/worse than the roach coaches that line the main drag here in Castaic.I am disappointed. All this time, I was hoping it was a genuine taco stand, where you order in Spanish and get sloppy, greasy, delicious, authentic Mexican masterpieces.

34 miles and 6100' is a 6:00 ride for me (180 feet of climbing per mile) It's like the Trabuco / Santiago loop with extra credit. Sounds like a great time, but way too big for my britches at 4:00 - 5:00.
Happy B'Day Jason! You are an example that keeps me riding
You haven't lived, lol!Let's not get too crazy here. This is south Orange County. Sloppy and greasy are illegal.
You haven't lived, lol!
If I am in town, I will.Dude! I'm from Buffalo. We invented greasy!
And you should come down for the ride. It's looking like a fun group.
Oh H-E-double-hockey-sticks NO @Voodoo Tom , Please don't rave about Tito's school cafeteria tacos...Tito's Tacos Culver City, even better/worse than the roach coaches that line the main drag here in Castaic.
Owe common he said sloppy & greasy & delicious and I clearly stated they were better/worse than the rot gut ones you get from the 49 catering trucks lining the streets of my lovely town...Oh H-E-double-hockey-sticks NO @Voodoo Tom , Please don't rave about Tito's school cafeteria tacos...
I’m a maybe for somebody portion of this.
Huh?
Perhaps:
"I may be in for some portion of this?"
Dang painkillers will get you every time!
So you're NOT going to venture into Laguna for eats? You're gonna hit Sharky's? Wow. OK. Whatever the birthday boy wants I s'pose. Me, I'd hit La Sirena or even Adolfo's. Others could hit Natraj which is right next door.
I, of course, would be with you for every pedal stroke of this super-easy backyard loop, but alas... (wait for it. This has to be good....)
I will be unavoidably detained in....
New Orleans LA at an IB conference. I will make sure to have some decent spicy food.
Happy B-Day @mtnbikej!
You don't venture out of Laguna....I don't venture into Laguna.
It's all about location. Food is only a 2 minute drive from the end of the ride.
It’s about proper nutritionT & A and taco's whoo!
What's this thread about again?
Why can't your birthday be next month? It would have been a great excuse to do one of your mini death marches. Having to work the next several Saturdays I can't commit to anything that isn't just outside my front door. I'll definitely make it down there next year. Have a great ride and happy birthday!
Where dat?
They went from Glendora to Lake Arrowhead. Troy has a Strava.
One wonders what their riding time was. This whole "moving time" cheat is a crock of bull. I could take two weeks to get there... stopping every quarter mile to take a nap, and my moving time would be amazing!
Overall time was just over 12 hrs.....I looked it up.
So when are you planning on doing this ride???
