McGill McGot Him Again… Mikie is Down...

I was at just under 8 thousand feet, so they asked me how much I weight and then dropped the basket and went and dropped the 3rd chopper member due to weight. I think they were suggesting I was fat...
They should have just used their Chinook. :Roflmao:Roflmao:D:inlove:

Is it OK if I use the  emoji here? I mean, that is kinda funny if you look at it in the way that they were making sure everyone aboard would be safe. Now, if they had started throwing out tools, fuel cans, medical supplies, and the co-pilot's chair, I might have been offended, but they didn't so it's all good @Mikie!

Hey Mikie hey Mikie!
I just learned that my good friend and neighbor Casey Payne was one of the FF that evac’ed you outta there last wk. He’s a really good guy, we’ve been trail running together for yrs and I think he’s even mtn biked Pinos.
He asked about you today, I told him your alive and kicking...ready to get back on your bike
Hope you’re having a great day my friend:thumbsup:

How cool!
I remember a Casey that night. Was he one of the first responders with the local search and rescue? Well we are going to ride and pizza and brew are on me afterwards!

I got a PM from another one of the Fireman out in Palmdale. He introduced himself and said I invited him to join imtbtrails while being rescued. So everybody rest assured that even near death and comotose ... I am always promoting our site!

He paid the nicest compliment to you guys. He said he read through the crash post and said it was one of the nicest forum communities where people really care about each other! That made me real happy!

As well...
My Nephew Matt Watson now works at the Lebec Fire Department as a Hot Shot. Said they had a briefing on some jack wad mountain biker who lost control of his bike and had to be rescued (they did’t say it like that). Stated that they wanted to work on response time to be more efficient.
My Nephew’s sister Rebecca sent this to me today from Florida.
That cracked me up. Loved the note inside from her... I wonder where they get their humor from...

ouch! That’s just mean :p
This combination of words has been deemed hurtful. :stop:
@Cyclotourist @Faust29 and all others:

You have my express written permission to resume use of the (ridiculous) phrase "Go big or go home..." I have applied Velominati rule 5 and I am no longer phased by it.
Now everyone knows I not only dish but greatfully take it, so bring it bitches!:p

He’s glad to hear you’re doing well, he said you were in pretty bad shape Mr! Don’t do that again Mr Watson:mad:
Those cookies will heal you good and fast...NOT! Stay away from sugar while healing up dude!

Another reason to ditch the ballerina tights and wear baggies... Pockets! You could have plastered the Helo and the ER with IMTB stickers.

Yah know?
First valid reason to move to baggies!
Can you imagine? They are giving me CPR in the Helo while I’m covertly sticker kitting their helicopter? Hmmmmmm.....
LOL!
I want a sticker! Please @Mikie I’ll put it on my Hydroflask:thumbsup:
Yeah Sara...
All we got to do is actually get in the same ZIP CODE! Sheesh! What a couple months, huh?

Hah! Then we didn’t speak. If he was the guy that hauled my ass in after they cabled me up then he never said a word. Checked vitals. Actually held my hand while he took my blood pressure. I needed my hand held by that time, I was delirious and kinda losing it at that time. The human element is always the best medicine. Those guys rocked! You need to give that guy a hug and say it’s from Mikie.

People like their hands held..especially old people that lived alone...
Rich or poor ..
Bel air or south la..
All hands look same when old
All old dont want to be alone
All alone want their hands held....

Driving down santa monica to st johns
lights n sirens.. brakes screaming...smell
Of metal burning...
Acceleratin n brakin a huge heavy ambulance full of metal...
Woohooo!

That was one hard job...

All my life i seek adrenaline from the feeling of uncontrolled speed mixed in with fear of death...

Thank God For mtbkin...
Woohoo! I better not take drugs...
