Leatt All Mtn lid fitting today. Really good fit and an awesome company, Fadi turned me on to the brand. Didn’t purchase it, waiting to try the Kali Interceptor. Almost done and we can be free of this threadView attachment 39795
Although you all can be free anytime..sorry to drag this out so long, I’m usually pretty compulsive
Where did you try/ buy the 6D??The LEATT is a really nice helmet. I was gonna buy that instead of the 6D... until I tried on the 6D. Fit just a tiny bit better than the Leatt.

Dang, yeah..kinda farJenson USA. I went to the one in Corona. Kinda far for you. They carry Leatt also.
I’ll head down today, thanks Tom ;0)@mountaingirl sara I believe Performance Cyclery in Valencia carries some of the 6D helmets. In fact I got this email from them a couple days ago. Might be worth a look or a phone call.

I can try one in Valencia it looks like!@horsebikerider just got a 6D the other day.....she seems to like the way it fits.
She ordered hers directly from 6D.
Well crap..I try to show it offThe tag is covering up the scars though!!!
@herzalot - I might have missed it, but is there anywhere to try on an IXS? I like the looks, and might take a chance... But I'd really like to try some domes on my Charlie Brown shaped head before I buy.
Also- to the group at large... Who has the largest selection in store to try on? I'll go see what the Path has, but I don't really know what they carry in helmets... We shall see.
The Kali didn’t work for my small noggin BC it’s too round..so it might work for you! Lifetime crash replacement@herzalot - I might have missed it, but is there anywhere to try on an IXS? Yeah. I have an XXXL noggin myself and the Kali fits it perfect. The Kali didn’t work for my small noggin BC it’s too round..so it might work for you! Lifetime crash replacement
That’s awesome! For what it's worth, I crashed hard last week. I didn't think I hit my head in the crash, until I looked at my cracked Smith Forefront. No head pain whatsoever. My shins, on the other hand...
That’s a big nogginYeah. I have an XXXL noggin myself and the Kali fits it perfect.
Yes. As a matter of fact I have an Interceptor. That’s a big noggin
Do you have a Kali?

I have had repeated thoughts I should post up, “Look at Bell” and did not. Bell is my noggin’s helmet of choice! The wife and I took a ride to Bike Co. today... I went there just to try on the IXS, but I ended up being underwhelmed. It was an OK fit, but it honestly felt similar to my Fox. My Charlie Brown head fell in love with the Bell Sixer, however. It was instantly a better fit than the Fox it replaced.
MIPS, adjustable visor, built in GoPro mount... And it's round. Like my head.
The guys in the shop seemed cool... That's another plus.

Bumping this back up for a 2020 view on things. My MET Parabellum was offered up as a sacrifice to the MTB gods on Saturday so I need to find something to replace it. Who are the good brands here? I'm more familiar with Euro stuff.
