Chantry held up pretty good after the rain @Cisco Roots, looks nice"
Chantry is great even during the rain. Just don't go on the weekends...too many people!

I am not sure that I agree with you. The granite tech sections along the route there are like slick ice when they are wet. That place tried to kill me when it was wet, but I won that battle.Chantry is great even during the rain. Just don't go on the weekends...too many people!
I know. My mentioning Strawberry was aimed at you and your ride through there today.
That groove will save your asp on the way down, I know it has saved mine. Right above it is pretty smooth and fast, then a left turn and wham! this bed rock pitch. This one has a big rock crossing the trail under his front tire, it throws you to the uphill side on the rock face, that baby is full of skid marks and component gouges. It is the correct line but it takes some big chingaderes to commit to it and ride it as the right side has a continuation of the groove. If you pop down too soon your angle will pitch you across and on to the outside shoulder.^ Wow, looks like Chumash is grooved out a bit now.
I am pretty sure that we have crossed paths, probably even chatted on that "other" site. We are fairly local to eachther so lets meet up for a ride or three sometime soon.View attachment 26203

Here! Here! But for the next several days, I will be rolling out AZ style...I think it is time for a good ol North chapter meet up.
