@Mikie is right on target - my town is filled with old pros, has-beens and legends in their own minds riding motorcycles disguised as bikes. “We earned it...”

My old riding buddy tells me he's entering his first Mtn bike race in Henderson. (x-pro-moto-guy). I jokingly asked if there will
Be a rescue outfit with defib equipment at the top of the climbs. He said no, he just barcalounges the uphills, and its a E-bike
Race.. That's right you heard it, E-bike races. I'm so embarrassed.

Also hello imtbers, been in moving to the Midwest HELL mode. My only good trail so far is the poison oak look out trail. HELP.

For the first time in 48 years....we don’t have TV.

yesterday we cut our cable.

now, if it’s not on Amazon Prime or Netflix....oh, well.

This might take some adjustment.
If you don't watch a lot of TV, there's enough programing between the two to last you a lifetime.

You know how to work the TV? I just hand the remote to one of the squatters who have taken up residence during the pandemic. :cautious:

I’ll have to get creative...Supercross season is supposed to start in a few weeks.

also when baseball season kicks up...::hmmmm.

You wont be able to watch SX unless you subscribe. I get the full moto package, SX, Outdoors, MXGP, and Moto-GP. It's all you need. Redbull TV also has good content. The History channel will become a favorite too. Netflix sux, at least for us. Cancel netflix and subscribe to Youtube to eliminate the commercials.

Brothers and I finally got my parents to cut out cable and just use our streaming accounts for entertainment. I'm not sure how my dad gets his futbol fix but, I know he gets both the Mexican and British league's games 'cuz I can hear him yelling at the tv when my mom calls sometimes.

I think they were paying something like $180 a month! That's like a monthly payment on a Honda Civic!

I won a Syncros bottle cage with multitool, a hat and a new timber bell from the MWBA pancake breakfast this morning.

Also... Make sure you go to pinkbike every day and enter their giveaways.
That's awesome! Free is the right price for the Timber Bell. I have had three. The first jettisoned itself due to crappy retention system. They improved that problem. The next two lost their clapper while descending bumpy stuff. At $25 per, I would expect better. :(

Glad you won stuff though!

I've actually been using a timber bell without issue for the past 3 years... AND I got a refurbished one (minor scratches or something...). Maybe I just got lucky.

Saw America from the back seat of my parent's Ford Pinto. Luckily nobody rear ended us.
CA to Vermont via The Interstate Highway System.

You're lucky to be here!

Our Pinto (in the highly desirable orange...) was lucky to make it out of the driveway. But with all the rust holes, it had really good ventilation. The ones in the floor boards were a little scary, though... My kids have no idea...

One of my long time party buds from back in the 80s had an old maverick. Man, did we rage hard in that ride! It got us to and from party after party, reliably. It's owner named it "Nellie".

Ours was the non-hatchback in green. Actually a good little car.

Not ours:
