IMTBTrails Strava Club

Where do you find the miles to elevation ratio? I want to make sure I am still an MTBer.

If you really want to geek out on Strava data, I like VeloViewer. This is one of the screenshots where you can see a graph of almost any data you want (like Elev/Distance) laid out daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.

I think I made the MTB cutoff most months:)

You can even check out interesting stats like Heart Beats per Mile ... I'm not quite sure what to do with that one:confused:

And if you REALLY care what other people think of your accomplishments, you can even graph your Kudos!

You're welcome!:D

Ok... Before you guys label me a Stravasshole, 100 is just an arbitrary number I chose. I do look at the elevation/mile for myself, and I like to see it go up each year, but don't take it too seriously!

This weekend's Holy Jim to Trabuco loop, just for the record, is up around 170 feet per mile... @Mikie could make the ride easier if we went on to San Juan. 7500/50 works out to only 150 feet per mile... It's actually easier! :whistling:

I don't STRAVA, but I know my elevation profile would be no less than 150' per mile. The majority of my rides are between 15 and 16 miles and 2400 ft. of climbing.

Yay me!!!!!!!

Now if I had the time and dedication to push my regular ride to 3500' plus of climbing, at that same ratio, without giving up the fun part of mtb. And develop my jumping skills. On the other hand, that would seriously cut into my smartass-post-writing-on-IMTB time. :whistling:
