Nothing special today, but I did ride my road bike. Commuted again. 37 miles total: 16.2 to work, 20.8 home. I enjoy the heck out of it. Riding is fun!
Me too, but on the MTB and only bout half the miles but still fun. Dark and 56°on the way in and 90° on the way home.Nothing special today, but I did ride my road bike. Commuted again. 37 miles total: 16.2 to work, 20.8 home. I enjoy the heck out of it. Riding is fun!
I seem to remember a certain Mikie W racked his nuts pretty good on this obstacle when we last rode it...Went up to Mt Pinos today and saw this new (to me) obstacle on the last section of the McGill climb. The approach on the uphill side looked good but the downward transition was pretty sketchy. Stopped and shored it up a little before continuing the climb.

Rode my bike tonight, with at least 100 other people on the Tapia chili night ride. Rode up Charlie canyon to the towers with fellow imtbtrails brotha Pat(psm) and upon arrival there was quite the setup. Couple ez-ups and several tables setup with some pots of chili(grub deluxe) and all the fixins. Several ice chests with waters, sodas and another with Carona's & Ipa's. This event was perfectly arranged and orchestrated and unfortunately I do not know who to give the credit to but they did a damn fine job. Decided to play it sort of safe and took mostly the fire road back down with some of the single track offshoots. Now I need to buy more lights with more firepower cause that was fun.

Don't know but that was the first thing I notced after posting the pic. There was also a couple on a tandem bike which was pretty cool to see.Who cheated and rode the E-Bike?????
Good crowd and a nice evening at the tapia chili ride . Enjoyed pedaling up with Tom and grabbing a brew and a bowl of chili at the towers. It's an event put on by Dean, I don't know a last name, just a guy who likes to give and rides there a lot. It's the fifth year he's done this and the first time I showed up. On the ride down my buddy Brian and I chose to ride through g out which is always a fun trail and definitely interesting using a light. The whole night was a ton of fun and worth showing up to next year.Rode my bike tonight, with at least 100 other people on the Tapia chili night ride. Enjoying some riding out at Blue Diamond Nevada. Great riding just 20 miles from the strip
Yeah there is some chunky stuff to be had. Great rocky desert riding if that's what you like.I really got to hit that someday! Any chunck to be had?
I could easily match your "slow-but-still riding" pace up Cholla. My last pull there might have been a record-setter!
Perfect weather, great trail, great riding buddy, no crashes or flats or broken bikes. Doesn't get much better than that...Voodoo Tom and I rode McGill today.

Yeah? Well I kicked that Logs azz today!I seem to remember a certain Mikie W racked his nuts pretty good on this obstacle when we last rode it...
We should have an Anti-Strava race to see who can climb it the slowest! Instead of KOM it can be KOC King of the Couch. Who's in?!?!?
And I wussed out at the last second and went around...Yeah? Well I kicked that Logs azz today!
Can't you walk up it faster than that???
