I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

I didn't ride today because I was taking advantage of the rain dampened soil and installing a backyard to the curb drainage for the El Nino rains.
It was NOT supposed to be 102° today! I was ready for 87-90°.
I was doing well, and then bonked a little, but did finish it up. I should have worn the camelbak.

Because I will go ride my board. This is the time of year where I go hit the water; the crowds are gone, the kids are back in school, the water is still warm and the air crisp and toasty!!

Ride on whatever it is under your feet (no need to compare, it's all good). :sneaky: It'd be like comparing uh-hem sizes - just ride it and enjoy!! :whistling:

Hmm don't you ride a longboard exclusively?

I didn't ride my bike today. Matter of fact I didn't do much of anything today. Was hauling my tractor from Frazier to Aqua Dulce when the truck went in to distress mode on Interstate 5 right by Magic Mountain. Looks to be something with the electronics and fuel injection. It's on its way to the dodge dealer as I type... Had to rent a U-Haul pickup to get the tractor back to Frazier.

Dang it you should have called me. Could have had my truck over to you in about 5 minutes. Take the U-haul back & use my truck if you can.

I don't like the "like" button for these types of things, but it gets the message across I think. If I could assist I would, but yer like 50 miles away and stuff. Hope things work out okay, and Tom is a bro for offering his truck. These things are why I like this place!!!

I look at it that you "like" that I shared it. Appreciate your thoughts towards my rescue. You are right though! We DO have a network for times in need.
I was so glad I was there for UPSed when they had their crash in Bako a couple months ago...
We should have network of numbers somewhere when we do get in to SOS mode somewhere.....hmmmmmm.

If you're only 50ish miles from me then you're only 75ish from Golden Eagle so you need to come up and ride it with us pal, no excuses...Heck I'd probably go ride the Floop if it's that close to me.
It is that close to you....and I want to ride GE. I really do. But my better half has to be onboard, and my daughter has to not be riding in a show that weekend, etc. In other words, I have to have major advance notice. But I want to. GE is like our FLoop, yes?

I didn't ride today because I ran 6 miles with my friend and my dogs!

Hopefully you were not the moron who was walking his dogs off-leash near Brea Blvd and could only say "Oliver! No.!" as the little white mongrel yapped at my heels and begged for removal from my reality. I really, REALLY despise people who let their dogs off-leash on trails where other people use them.

Other than that, had a great day.

Not sure GE could be compared to the floop or anyplace for that matter. It's sort of in the middle of nowhere and gets ridden by like 10 people a month. Nice amount of climbing with great views that you can torture yourself on or just cruz up then miles of great single track that you can ride at whatever pace you want. It's like the perfect mountain bike trail .Tapia canyon sounds more like the floop, short ride or long, fun trails & lots of people riding em and it's about 3/4 of a mile from my house.

Not much all week. I think it was that time of the month. Just been in a no so good mood. Woke up today feeling much better. The boy has a Spartan race(Beast) at Vail today so probably get a few road miles tonight. Tomorrow is Triple crown can't wait.

Do you hate them as much as bikers who don't follow the 10 mph speed limit on pedestrian trails? No, I was not said moron. However I was dealing with a different type of dog moron - the one who lets their dog dump in the middle of the trail, and then doesn't clean it up.

You'll know it's me when my lead dog is wearing a pack, and I don't say anything to them as we run past you because they will be on the right of the trail and will completely ignore you. If I can't see the trail in front of me, they will be behind me anyway. Now about that 10 mph speed limit...

Personally I think they need to pass a law - you have to be smarter than a dog to own one.

I didn't ride my bike today because I couldn't get Jennifer out of bed. So I joined her! Wait, what? By the time we had breakfast it was too hot to ride. Just lounged around and had waffles then went and put a deposit on our wedding venue. We are both so excited!
