I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

Up in SLO but did not bring my bike. Did re-affirm that the entire area is a giant PO patch. Did find some trails in the grasslands, they got up quickly and I am sure run into PO within a mile. Did drive on Pismo Beach, something I have not done in decades

+1 on SLO being a huge PO patch, you can’t go 10 feet without finding some. I do my annual drive in Oceano when we go camping every summer, lots of fun!!

I didn't ride my bike today cuzz. . . . .
I've been wanting to take out a small window air conditioner unit that can not cool the wifes 17'x40' workshop. We have a new unit that can cool a 1900' sq. Room.
Took out the small unit, framed the opening, then built a support shelf on the outside of the room. Next is primer and paint on the shelf, pulling 10ga wire for the 240v 30 amp power requirements, and installing the 30amp breaker.
I thought the wife would be happy, but all she said was " you'll do this in 107°, but you won't ride your bike"?
I will never win. . .

Went to Blackstar and parked at the tree farm at 5:30 PM . Temp was favorable. Got all ready to get going but noticed that there was a nail stuck into one of my car's tires. Headed straight back to civilization. Found a little ma n pa tire store that was still open in Orange. They were about to close the door was I was pulling up. Got the ole $25 cash patch installed and will ride tomorrow.

Mostly because I don’t ride my mountain bike much at all right now but today I got the new booster COVID shot and my flu shot.

As some here know, I take a $15k per dose injection 4x a year that shuts my immune system down so it doesn’t attack my joints and riddle me with inflammation. If I get sick, I get really sick. When my kids bring home colds that most adults fight off, I’m floored.

Good news is I have a lot more free time now so hopefully will be posting more in the opposite of this thread.

Rheumatoid Arthritis - or something worse? N/M - none of my business. My wife has RA. It's a hoot.

We had a sauna installed yesterday that has infered heating, hot rocks, ionizer, special light wave system, and a few other gizmos. The spousal unit doesn't have RA, but she has the symptoms. There are days she can't move. . . .
This will get her back to some normality.

I didn't ride my bike today, cause I had to work.

Close and I’ve posted about it before so no worries, psoriatic arthritis. Luckily I have zero skin psoriasis but I already have joint damage. Some of my fingers look like overfilled sausages, some toes too. Luckily the biological I use keeps flare ups to a minimum.

I really wish massage therapy was more widely accepted by insurance. I personally think it is not only therapy for conditions but in a way it’s preventative care. When I try to find a place that accepts insurance it’s always a big runaround and I have a really good PPO plan.

If anyone knows of a good massage place or person who accepts PPO please do tell! Not into the chiropractic stuff though, I can’t go the 4 days a week they want me to.

....I did a short hike to check out some new dirt with a view.
