Fireroad , road? Going to WW and no Leprechaun is like peanut butter without the jelly!
We should at least check it out. Maybe BS , logging to Let , climb back up BS to Middle Jackson or Ricky Bobby? Lotsa single track on this and about 15-20 depending on the ending. Happy ending is preferred:geek: Thinking out loud again.

If I may make a proposal: If we're going to include Leprechaun and we don't have current knowledge about its condition, then let's do that lap first.

It's not very difficult to get there from the lake, we'd be fresher for bushwhacking if needed, and we end up back at the lake to refuel for any other loops we intend to do.

If anyone is paying for Strava, you can look at Leppy and see who/if anyone has ridden it this week/month.

That will give you an idea how rideable it may be.

Or tire trax at the trailhead is a good indication also.

Can always turn around and climb back out. Dont wanna get shoes wet at the start of the day.

I think climbing BS three times and 3 different DH routes would be a good test!

( Or shuttle to Inspiration to drop BlueRidge)

May be lots of hikers, Holiday weekend and all.

How many miles is "climbing BS three times and 3 diff DH routes"?

If you do logging trail second, you pass the cars before climbing again. I like Logging Trail the least....
.

I suppose if you do BS to RickyBobby second you end up near the cars also. But
thats the best way to end the day IMHO.

VERY rough estimates...

The shortest loop worth doing is Boyscout up and back: ~5 mi/550'
Pedal directly to Leprechaun and back: ~5.5 mi/800'
Then there's BS to Jackson DH: ~7.5 mi/1300'
BS to Logging DH: ~9 mi/1500'
BS to Logging DH to Leprechaun DH & climb back: ~12.5 mi/1900'

And the loops get longer from there.
 
Guys guys guys! I have been at and involved in a wedding all night!
Sorry! Meet time at Jackson Lake at 10:00 for distant drivers. Let’s discuss route options. At the riders meeting. ;) I was hoping to do a Yodler burger and brew afterwards but we will have to feel that out as I forgot the last time on a holiday.
