Do you really wanna live in Kentucky?

When something even remotely interesting shows up in a thread about gas prices, it must be celebrated! “Some where”... hmmI payed 2.59 for premium at Costco three weeks ago. I go to Arizona for essential business. I payed 2.54 to 2.79 and it was higher. Some where in the white mountains.

Avgas is ethanol free. Folks used to avoid high avgas prices by switching to auto gas, but ethanol would not be nice to an aircraft fuel system. One thing that is new in the gas scene here in North Carolina is no-ethanol gas.
I was surprised to learn how hard ethanol is on lawn care equipment, lawn tractors, certain boat engines, etc. There are gas stations here that have specific pumps set up for ethanol free gas... and it costs about 2x what regular 10% ethanol gas costs.
