E-bikes everywhar....

Mea culpa! However in my defense I will just say - I didn't go looking for them. I was looking at MeetUps for mountain bike lovers - trying to find people at my ability level - and there it was.

We might think of them as being an orange to our apple. The problem is that a lot of the rest of the world is lumping them into the "mountain bike" category - instead of the "dirt bike" category.

Hellllooooo.... We're here! And there's a nice upcoming birthday ride posted in the trailhead. I promise Jason won't bite or rip your legs off. :p

I agree. I have to say I have never had a bad experience with someone on horseback. They have been totally cool. But I imagine a lot of that is because I was totally cool as well. Treat how you want to be treated. Simple rule, rarely fails.
You haven't heard about the "lady on the white horse" in Sullivan Canyon, have you? I saw her back in he day when she was a major witchy-poo.

Hey I'm going on the Christmas ride and the Winter Solstice ride :) It is the 6000' in four-five hours ride that has me intimidated :) I would be really hard-pressed to do two Harding Truck Trail climbs back-to-back in under five hours. I could do one in two and a half... but the second would be slower. And two of them in four hours? It isn't happening :)

You gotta remember....my route is different than doing back to back Harding climbs.....you'll get DH's and recovery throughout the route. It's not all up, then all down.
