Beer ...I Drank Some.

I cracked open the beer I made in my kitchen over a month ago. A honey ale I dubbed Sweet baby-T.
Two of my roadie buddies came by the garage to try it out. All present agreed-it was absolutely tolerable!
Everyone had a pint and then we all switched to Three weavers IPAs.

Now, if anyone wants to try their hand and needs a simple beginner's kit, let me know. I'm happy to pass it on at no charge. The kit is cleaned and dried-pick-up only.

Cheers, boys and ladies!

oh, haven’t heard of that place...

We popped into Las Palmas brewing In P. Springs last week. Definitely worth checking it out.
The staff was super cool and this Dusk IPA is both tasty and well balanced.

Side note: that town has COVID dining dialed, Menus on your phone and masks every time someone approaches the table.

Late reply, but I HIGHLY recommend the New Belgium variety pack at Costco.
All four brews in it are delicious!

BTW they also have bubbly alcoholic water from Ashland Hard Seltzer. If you like the concept of White Claw, but it's just too sweet for you, this Ashland stuff is great!!!

I was hoping to see that new Belgium pack, but they only had a Sierra Nevada one.
I do really like Sierra Nevada, but passed because I wasn't really feeling the iPad...

Ended up picking up a small ballast point variety pack today. Mix of fathom IPA ,grunion pale ale and a lager.

Looks like I'll have to have Jennifer go to Costco and pick some up. Oh yeah, and some poke.
The two different IPAs are both great, not super hoppy, but just right in my opinion. And the two different lagers are light and flavorful. The lime lager was something I didn't know I needed!

Heads up on those poke bowls, they have to be eaten right away. We had some that were stuck in the back of the fridge for about a week, and it was some very expensive rice at that point.

I don't even remember what it was... some sort of hazy IPA. Tons of grapefruit in the mix... a good start to lunch:

Whatever happened to beer? Y'know, like the Germans and Belgians make? Even the Brits who invented IPA never intended it to be consumed in that state, and certainly never meant for it to be literally tarted up with fruit.

Sorry. You like what you like and I like what I like. Enjoy!
